Well this is the first blog since my spinal cord surgery 10 weeks ago! I had a pretty rough time and very thankful to God I made it through. Today I mixed many patterns and textures. I paired a sheer top with encrusted rhinestones and white cami, with a pair of tribal/aztec leggings. As you all know I am a huge fan of the “clutch” purse so I am rocking a leather rhinestone studed clutch. I kept the jewelry simple with a pair of earrings from BangleBangle.com by Amritah Singh my all time favorite jewelry designer! I am wearing a simple black wedge. (Aging is inevitable, let’s do it in style!)
Well it has been a while since I have blogged. I had 2 disks in my cervical spine bulge and burst and will be having surgery on the 18th. I have been down and in alot of pain. I actually have been back home on the East coast for a little over a month and all this happened right before I returned to Cali.
Today was the best I felt in 3 weeks so I wanted to get out and enjoy this gorgeous Cali day.
I am wearing a patterned maxi skirt from Burlington Coat factory, a tan tank (random) Roberto Cavalli sunglasses and Amrita Singh earrings. The park was so beautiful…I added a pic of the hubby cause he has been so good at taking care of me! :)

I paired a Chinese blouse (purchased at Goodwill Thrift Store for $3.00) with a printed pant from Zara. To accessorize, I wore a flat gold choker (thrifted) and a long length black an silver multi-strand necklace from Steinmart. My earrings are from Macy’s and my clutch is thrifted. Shoes- BCBG from the Tuesday Mornings Shoe blowout sale. ($9.99) Talk about a SCORE.
Do not be afraid to mix and match metals and patterns, either subtly or boldly! Stay beautiful, stay on your budget and most of all stay FAB!
Today was a sad day for us. Today marks the 1 year anniversary of our god daughters passing away. Yulissa (aka) Tootie, was a beautiful, smart little girl who stole our hearts. We miss her everyday, I wore pink and flowers today because she would love this! Rest in Peace our Angel. xoxoxoxoxoxo.
